Dear Parents and Students,
I would like to welcome you to my classroom at Anza Trail. My name is Courtney Insalaco. I will be your child’s teacher this year. I relocated to Sahuarita from Charlotte, NC, but I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. I attended Buffalo State College, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Exceptional Education. I also have my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction of Technology from Grand Canyon University. This is my fifth year teaching first grade.
This is a very special year in your child's school career! First grade is a time to experience important transitions and acquire new skills. During the year, your child will learn how to read, write stories, add, subtract, and so much more. I hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child's years of schooling!
